Plumbing Dramas in Brookvale
Julie urged her son to keep his voice down. “Jack, you don’t have to yell so loud.” She added. Julie had just returned home, with her son, from a friend’s birthday party.
Julie decided to play with him outside so the noise level wouldn’t be as obvious to her ears. Suddenly Julie’s foot sank as she stepped. The sudden uneven ground almost made her loose her balance. She tapped the grass below her with her foot and realised that the grass was wet. “How unusual,” she said with concern. It hasn’t been raining and no one had used the hose. She looked around to try and figure out what the cause was. Suddenly she became aware that the wet grass could indicate a plumbing problem with their septic system. She, vaguely, recalled hearing her partner saying something about it before.
Since he had done nothing about it, she decided to get to the bottom of it, with the help of a plumber. She opened up the Brookvale local paper and flicked to the back section. This section contained a list of local businesses so she decided that it would be an ideal place to look for a plumber. There were a few to choose from but she went with the one that specified that they had a satisfaction guarantee. How can I go wrong with that? She thought, to herself. She also read that the company worked throughout Dee Why, Curl Curl, Harbord, Manly, North manly, Beacon Hill, Allambie heights, Narweena and Fairlight.
Julie was ecstatic with the news that someone from the plumbing company would be able to visit later that day.
An hour later, she received a call on her mobile. The plumber, from the company wanted to check if she would be home because he was outside the house already! She quickly went to let him in, through the front door.
She walked him through the house and around to the back to the cause of the plumbing leak. She pointed out the wet patch and he immediately started to analyse the area. He carried out a variety of plumbing tests and Julie noticed that he seemed to be very prepared. He noticed her watching and commented that they used the very latest in plumbing technology to increase their efficiency and effectiveness. “That, in turn, helps to save you money.” the plumber continued, with a smile.
A short period of time lapsed and she was briefed on the current situation. The plumber explained what the problem was and what was done to fix it. She was relieved that he explained it in a way that she could understand. He provided her with the bill and she thanked him for his help.
That night, she spoke highly of the plumber to her partner. Her partner knew all about the plumbing company and was glad that it was the one that Julie had used. It happened that the group was renowned throughout Brookvale and Julie could see why!
